11:30 am	Temporary Adios In about an hour I head off to the airport for two weeks in Egypt, so I probably won't be reading here or at lj, or posting at lj, 'til I get back. When I do, I'll begin creating nile_notes (still at lj - sorry), which will hold the journal I write along the way and the best of the many photos I plan to take. Until then, ciao. PS - In other news, my brother-in-law passed away peacefully last night. He was in hospice and had basically been sleeping since Saturday, but he woke up clear-eyed and aware, and my sister got to tell him one last time that she - and all of us - loved him, and that it was OK to go, for which I'm very grateful.
